I am a British Board certified Consultant Pediatric Neurologist. I completed my General Pediatric and Pediatric neurology training in the UK. I graduated from Karnataka University in India and pursued my postgraduate training in Pediatrics from Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences in Karnataka, India. I moved to the UK and completed 10 years of comprehensive training in Pediatric Neurology, General Pediatrics and Neonatology as a resident and as a senior registrar in various hospitals in the United Kingdom. I was successful in acquiring the National Grid training post in Pediatric Neurology in the UK and my training in Pediatric neurology included assignments as a senior registrar in three major tertiary University hospitals. These included, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester and the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. I was awarded CCT (Completion of certified training) in Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology by the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in 2012.
I worked as a consultant Pediatric Neurologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester from 2012 until 2015 before moving to Dubai. I was the lead clinician for complex epilepsies, vagal nerve stimulation service and ketogenic diet service in Leicestershire.
I am an avid writer, authoring more than 40 peer-reviewed and public health publications. I have presented numerous posters at national and international meetings, and I am currently in the process of co-authoring a book on Pediatric Neurology and one on pediatrics for medical students. I have been a honorary lecturer for medical students at the University Hospitals of Leicester and have been teaching on the National training courses like the Pediatric Epilepsy training courses.
I am an International Examiner for MRCPCH clinical examinations and I have trained resident doctors in my deanery to pursue success in these clinical examinations.
My professional memberships include fellowship of the royal college of pediatrics and child health, core member of the European pediatric neurology society, member of the British Pediatric Neurology Association, General Medical Council UK and Dubai/Emirates Pediatric club.
I have moved to UAE in my capacity as the Head of Pediatric neurology division at Neuropedia, Dubai. I also have affiliations to some regional hospitals like Neurospinal Hospital and City Hospital in Dubai.

Information for parents
Preparing for the initial visit Please arrive at least 15 minutes before you child’s scheduled appointment. Please bring the following items with you:
Firstly, we will ask about your child’s medical history. Next, we will perform a neurological examination. We will take your child through a series of simple maneuvers to test strength, coordination, sensation, reflexes etc.
Finally, we will discuss your child’s condition with you. We will go over the diagnosis, explain the need for further testing, and implement a plan of action to resolve the problem.
You will also received a detailed medical report explaining your child’s condition (This will be sent to you or could be collected at a later date)
